June 9^th Bachelor/ Bachelorette Auction will Benefit the Homeless and Victims of Abuse

Hollywood, CA – Undershare Inc., an L.A. based non-profit organization, will hold it’s first Los Angeles Bachelor/ Bachelorette auction to raise funds for their cause of donating new diapers, undergarments and toiletries to the homeless, sexual assault crisis centers, and prevention service groups. Last year the group held a similar event in San Francisco and its success encouraged the group to try the idea in L.A.  

Hal Sparks (Queer as Folk, Dude Where’s My Car) will emcee the event on June 9^th featuring a live auction where dates with 19 bachelors and bachelorettes will be awarded to the highest bidder. Dates include a Dodger game, an afternoon at Burke Williams, a Hornblower cruises champagne brunch for 4, and more. The evening will also include a silent auction where “taken” guests can bid on romantic adventures for them and their loved one including, a 3-night stay with lift tickets in Mammoth and private polo lessons for two. Other event activities include hors d’oeuvres, top shelf cocktails, DJ, and belly dancers.

The auction will begin at 7:00 p.m. and conclude at 10 p.m. at the Spider Club, 1735 North Vine Street, Hollywood. $80 prepay ticket price (must be purchased by 10 p.m. June 8) and $90 at the door. The VIP booths are sold out.

 The money raised at the event will benefit UnderShare, the Violence Intervention Program and Sojourn Services (in Santa Monica).
